This is a copy of the letter that everyone will be receiving shortly in the post: Hi Everyone, Firstly, congratulations on getting into University of Reading as well as St Patrick’s Hall! We can assure you you’re going to have a great year ahead of you in St Pats. This is just a little welcoming letter, telling you about St Pats as well as the JCR. The JCR is the Junior Common Room Committee; this is a group of second year students who were elected in March by their peers. They have a variety of roles, ranging from ensuring international students settle in, organising sporting events and freshers’ events, as well as providing help and support to settle in at Reading. |
